Fine Hand Coloured Charles Hunt study of the Nothamptonshire Grand National 1841,
impossible to pin point the exact date of print & the subsequent Hand Colouring, most editions are dated as 1842 but in reality Mid 1800s is a fair date to apply (mid-late C1800s)

Kislingbury Northamptonshire

 Interesting Watercolour to Board of the View from Kislingbury Bridge, showing the River Nene and titled View from Kislingbury Bridge it views as looking towards West & showing the roofs of houses which could be at or beyond Riverside Court, and with a degree of artistic license the farm building. all which has greatly changed 

HH Johnson is unknown to myself but this fine study shows great ability.

Original frame and mounting was by RS Savage & Sons and records show that RS Savage & Sons became RSJ Savage in 1970 as such this item is dated pre 1970 and post 1905 the date next to signature is hard to read and could/is understood be 47 even any date from 1905 that ends in 7. a inquiry to RSJ Savage could possibly present actual date from the order number shown to label

Huge J F Herrings, The Death.
Produced by M&N Hanhart who produced between 1839 to late 1880s. Full ref to them is available on web.

This is in a period frame as shown & with the desired age related condition, Huge at 42" x 32" the Walnut frame has the desired unique aged condition.

Image is very aged but acceptable as shown & would benefit from suitable setting & Lighting.

The asking price has allowed for the aged condition, offers will be considered & replied to. Obviously if it was in "Mint" condition a 0 (zero) would apply to the price for this very rare & substantial item & frame it is within.
