Wonderful Hand colored Map of East London & SW Essex from 1777 by John Chapman & Peter Andre.
I list this as a 1833 edition although it could be from the original edition of 1777. it is almost impossible to distinguise the two editions, as such I list this as the latter.
there is a past repair that cant be rectified to the right of Greenwich. other than than this is in fine condition.
Professionally framed and at 29" x 25" its a fine size
It affords a wonderful & stunning insight of the area, presenting Wansted Park & House at top Left to Chadwell Heath & Havering top right, then all villages down to the river.
